At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed Deputy Prime Minister Baymurat Annamammedov to keep the progress of the reconstruction of the Ashgabat Equestrian Complex under strict control and ensure the high quality of the work being carried out, TDH writes.
As stated in the Deputy Prime Minister’s report at the meeting, the construction of new additional stables, a veterinary pharmacy, a horse supply store, open parking lots, water reservoirs, technical buildings is currently underway on the territory of the complex, as well as the installation of monitors of various sizes and modern equipment.
In addition, it is planned to reconstruct the existing stables, the main entrance, stands for spectators, a quarantine building, a sports ground, an open arena, as well as landscaping of the surrounding areas.
Stressing that horses are the national pride of the Turkmen people, the head of state noted the priority attention given to the development of horse breeding and equestrian sports in Turkmenistan.
“We pay great attention to the development of horse breeding in our country, including equestrian sports,” the head of state noted, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under strict control the reconstruction of the Ashgabat Equestrian Complex, as well as high-quality work in this direction,” said President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
