President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Head of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and all the people of the country on the occasion of the Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania, TDH reports.
“Taking this opportunity, the head of state expressed sincere wishes to President Gitanas Nausėda for good health and happiness, and to all the people of the Republic of Lithuania - peace, further progress and prosperity,” the message says.
The Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania is celebrated on February 16 and is one of the main public holidays.
On this day, a number of events take place throughout the country, including speeches by top officials of the state to the people, a ceremony for presenting state awards at the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Lithuania, various concerts, celebrations and festive events.
