Turkmen athletes will defend the sporting honor of Turkmenistan at the Olympic Games in Paris in 9 sports: weightlifting, track and field, boxing, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, swimming, basketball (3x3), powerlifting and judo.
Information about this was posted on the website of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan in the new section “Paris 2024", the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports.
The Summer Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024. It is expected that 206 National Olympic Committees will take part in the competition. Athletes will compete for 329 sets of awards in 32 sports.
Turkmen athletes are actively preparing for the upcoming Olympics. To support them, a special Organizing Committee has been created to prepare for high-level competitions.
