An exhibition dedicated to the motto of 2024 “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi” and the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great classic of Turkmen literature was opened in the hall of temporary exhibitions of the Museum of History and Local Lore of Dashoguz velayat.
The thematic exhibition consists of paintings, sculptures, jewelry and other exhibits characteristic of the time period in which the poet-thinker lived and worked.
The poetry collections of Magtymguly Fragi, biographical books about him and other publications about the life and work of the classic are also presented here, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
One of the central exhibits was the sculptural work of a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan B. Annamedov, in which he skillfully depicted Magtymguly at the moment of creative inspiration and reflection on new brilliant lines.
The exhibition will be on permanent display throughout the current year.
