23 years old defender of the Turkmenistan national team Vepa Jumayev became a player for the Belarusian “Vitebsk”. This was reported by the press service of the club from the city of the same name.
“Vepa Jumayev is a “Vitebsk” player. Last season, the defender played for the capital's “Energetik”. Vepa took part in all matches of the championship, scored 2 goals and one assist”, - the message says.
Jumayev started playing football in his native Ashgabat. At the age of 17, he signed his first professional contract with the “Kopetdag” club from the Major League of Turkmenistan. In 2018 he entered the Gomel State Technical University.
In 2021 he moved to “Lokomotiv” Gomel (D2). In his debut season, he played 33 matches for the club, in which he scored 1 goal and 2 assists.
In March 2023, Vepa became a player at “Energetika-BGU”. Throughout the season, the footballer was a key player for the club, scoring 2 goals and an assist in 28 matches.

Earlier it was reported that Jumayev signed a contract with the “Slavia-Mozyr” team. However, according to Belarusian media, the club decided to part with the footballer.
