Eziz Garyagdyev, a student of the Special Music Boarding School at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, took third place at the IX All-Russian instrumental performance competition among students of children's music schools and children's art schools "Music Marathon", which was held in St. Petersburg.
Eziz performed in the category “playing wind and percussion instruments” in an online format, performing the first part of Alessandro Marcello’s “Oboe Concerto and Orchestra” (arrangement for oboe and piano in C minor).
Eziz is 12 years old; he began studying music in early childhood. Of all the wind instruments, Eziz chose the most difficult one - the oboe. Thanks to his teacher Ahmat Charyyarovich Abayev, the young musician became very interested in the instrument, and is making visible progress in this direction.
