Turkmenistan Begench Yangybayev is studying in Türkiye in his 3rd year at Istanbul Medipol University. And now, for three years now he has been singing in the Nevasel Türk Müziği choir. A “Turkmenportal” correspondent contacted Begench to find out more details.
“Our choir organizes public concerts twice a year in Türkiye and abroad. Each concert is dedicated to a specific topic, we perform songs by famous composers”, - says Begench. - Nevasel Türk Müziği has existed for about 8 years, and for the last three years I have been performing with them. The choir consists of people of different professions and ages: doctors, lawyers, businessmen, company managers. I am the only Turkmen in the choir”.
On January 16, the choir performed a concert in the large Cemal Resit Rey concert hall in Istanbul with 1000 seats.
“Dozens of newspapers wrote about the concert, and we also appeared on television programs. The director of our choir is Aylin Shengyun Tasci, a famous singer in Türkiye. We are all here like one big family”, - Begench shared with us.
Begench himself is from Turkmenabat. He is a graduate of the 36th high school. During his years at school, he was very interested in music and was an active participant in the city and velayat stages of the national music and singing competition Yañlan Diyarym.
Begench is currently studying at the Faculty of International Trade and Finance, which is part of the “Business Administration” program. In addition to music, he is interested in football, basketball, writing and composing music.
It so happened that Begench ended up in Nevasel Türk Müziği by accident, and he really liked the friendly atmosphere inside the choir. In addition, he noticed that the choir had a positive effect on his studies and positive outlook on life.
Begench connects his future with Turkmenistan:
“I want to join the ranks of those young people who benefit our beautiful Turkmenistan, to be a devoted son to my parents, to work for the benefit of the people and to improve myself”.
Taking this opportunity, Begench expressed sincere gratitude to the entire team of Turkmenportal.
“We, who are now temporarily living away from our homeland, like to hear from you the latest news about the achievements and successes of our beloved country!” says Begench.
