An expert working group of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan discussed issues of simplifying international road transport procedures online, the website of the “Turkmenavtoulaglary” agency reports.
The parties considered the issue of accelerating the signing of a draft intergovernmental agreement to simplify the obtaining of visas for participants in cargo transportation across the territories of the two countries.
Also during the negotiations, the possibilities of optimizing fees and charges that are levied on carriers in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan during international cargo transportation were discussed.
The Turkmen side expressed interest in studying the experience of Uzbekistan in introducing the real-time electronic exchange of permitting documents E-permit.
