The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure the proper functioning of agricultural machinery and units that will be involved in the spring campaign, to take measures for the organized sowing of potatoes and other fruits and vegetables, as well as to properly prepare for the upcoming sowing season. The corresponding orders were made during a working meeting on the digital system with the hyakims of the velayats and the Deputy Prime Minister for Agro-Industrial Complex. Along with this, the head of state instructed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of heating systems at social facilities and the supply of electricity, natural gas and drinking water to the population of the velayats.
2. The Ashgabat Fashion House hosted shows of Turkmen national clothing and textiles dedicated to the inclusion of the capital in the UNESCO network of creative cities. Collections of Turkmen scarves, embroidery and national costumes were demonstrated at the event. Performances by creative groups complemented the fashion show.
3. A meeting between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the new Ambassador of Türkiye to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok was held. The diplomat presented his credentials to the head of state. During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations and noted the important role of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in the development of trade and economic ties. The importance of training Turkmen specialists in Türkiye was also emphasized. The President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence in the prospects for further strengthening cooperation between the two countries and wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic activities.
4. A group of Chinese scientists from various scientific institutions visited Turkmenistan. The purpose of the visit was to meet with Turkmen colleagues. A trip to the village of Bokurdak was organized for the guests. The Chinese examined the local vegetation, including saxaul plantings, visited the yurt of a local resident, and tasted national cuisine. The delegation also visited a weather station in the desert, where they noticed pistachio plantings that were unusual for these places. The guests noted the efforts of Turkmenistan to green the desert and acclimatize plants.
5. A documentary film dedicated to the famous Turkmen actress, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Orazgul Apbasova was released on Turkmenportal. The film crew talked to both Apbasova herself and her colleagues, who told a lot of interesting things about the life and work of the actress, who gave many positive emotions to different generations of viewers.

6. The 10th annual camel trek through the desert has ended in the UAE. 37 riders from 16 countries took part in it. They covered a distance of 550 kilometers. In preparation for the trek, all participants underwent two months of training, during which they learned the skills of driving a camel, traveling in a caravan and surviving in the desert.
7. The world's tallest vegetable farm powered by robots has been created in China. The farm is located in Sichuan province and is a 20-story building. It is fully automated, including watering, harvesting and monitoring growing conditions. Thanks to new technology, China will be able to provide its population with fresh vegetables all year round, regardless of weather conditions.
8. Fans of the “Hershey” hockey club in the United States set a new world record by throwing 74 599 stuffed animals onto the ice during a match. The goalkeeper of the national team of Turkmenistan and the “Arkadag” football club, Rasul Charyev, was included in the ranking of the highest paid goalkeepers in Central Asia according to the Transfermarkt portal. The first place in the ranking was taken by the goalkeeper of the Tajikistan national team and the “Istiklol” club, Rustam Yatimov, with an estimated value of 900 thousand euros. Gatekeeper of the national team of Turkmenistan Rasul Charyev is on the 6th line of the ranking with an estimate of 175 thousand euros. 10. The “Zenit” football club from St. Petersburg announced the signing of a contract with Brazilian striker Arthur, who previously played for “Palmeiras”. 11. The legendary German football player Franz Beckenbauer has passed away. He was 78 years old. Beckenbauer is considered one of the greatest defenders in football history. He was the captain of the German national team, which became the world champion in 1974 and the European champion in 1972. As part of “Bayern” Munich, Franz won the German championship and cup four times, and the European Champions Cup three times.
