The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the participants of a special conference of medical and sanitary institutions

Today, a special conference of medical and sanitary institutions “Cooperation of member countries of the Non-Aligned Movement on preparedness and counteraction to emerging threats in the field of public health” starts in Turkmenistan. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed congratulations to the conference participants, TDH reports.

In his address, the head of state emphasized that holding the conference on the eve of the International Day of Neutrality and the 28th anniversary of the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the Resolution on the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan is a sign of high respect for the country and recognition of the effectiveness of the ongoing modernization of the national healthcare system and human health protection.

“I firmly believe that this conference will be of great importance in coordinating efforts to further strengthen and intensify cooperation, based on the experience of the member countries of the Non-Aligned Movement, uniting 120 countries of the world, accumulated during the periods of the pandemic and post-pandemic recovery, in particular, for the systematic improvement of work in the field of medicine and sanitation,” says the address of Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The head of state also noted that Turkmenistan takes an active position in the international arena and attaches great importance to the further strengthening of mutually beneficial relations with authoritative international organizations and countries of the world in various fields.

“We strictly follow the basic principles of the Non-Aligned Movement, aimed at strengthening universal peace, friendship and trust, and popularizing high humanitarian values,” said the President of Turkmenistan.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also emphasized that Turkmenistan today has solid experience in the development and modernization of the national healthcare system, as well as in establishing the principles of a healthy lifestyle.

“In accordance with the priority directions of our foreign policy strategy, we stand for intensifying and enriching cooperation with new content with member countries of the Non-Aligned Movement and the states of the world, major international structures, especially with the World Health Organization,” the head of state emphasized.

At the end of his speech, the President of Turkmenistan wished the conference participants good health, a prosperous and happy life, and great success in their work.
