1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov, who arrived in Turkmenistan at the head of a representative delegation. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for further building up the traditional partnership, built on a long-term basis, in a number of priority areas of mutual interest.
2. On November 27-28, the 12th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held in the capital of Tajikistan. The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral trade, economic, investment, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation. The potential for expanding partnerships in such areas as energy, water resources, agriculture, transport, logistics, education, medicine, culture and sports was noted. The next meeting of the commission is scheduled for 2024 in Ashgabat.
3. 223 teachers from Turkmenistan successfully took part in the special program of additional education of the State Pedagogical University of Naberezhnye Chelny and received additional education in seven disciplines. Advanced training courses for teachers of Turkmen higher and secondary schools lasted six days. They were carried out by specialists from Russia.
4. Commands for “What? Where? When?” in Turkmenistan are invited to the intellectual tournament, which will be held on December 10 in Ashgabat. Participation in the game is free. Teams must pre-determine their roster and register by December 7. In total, during the tournament, teams will need to answer 24 questions, divided into two rounds of 12 questions each.

7. The 14th World Kurash Wrestling Championship ended at the Martial Arts Sports Complex of the Ashgabat Olympic village. More than 200 wrestlers from about 50 countries took part in it. According to the results of the competition, the Turkmenistan team showed the best result in terms of the total number of medals won. Turkmen athletes have won 15 awards: 5 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze. It is worth noting that the World Kurash Championship in Ashgabat set a record number of medals in the entire history of Turkmen athletes’ performances at world championships.
