In accordance with the Program for the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan until 2030, the country sets a goal to increase the production of petrochemical products to supply the domestic market and export to foreign countries, CentralAsia.news reports.
To achieve this goal, Turkmenistan is making large-scale investments in the modernization of oil refineries. This allows us to introduce new advanced technologies, improve the quality of products and bring the depth of oil refining to the best global practices.
As the editor-in-chief of the Nebit-gaz newspaper Ussa Ussaev noted, oil and gas products produced in Turkmenistan are currently in great demand on world markets. It includes unleaded motor gasoline, aviation and technical kerosene, jet, diesel and heating fuel, fuel oil, lubricating oils, polypropylene, light gas oil, petroleum electrode coke, liquefied gas, construction and road bitumen.
The design capacity allows us to fully supply the domestic market of Turkmenistan with hydrocarbon products, as well as export them abroad. Currently, Turkmenistan supplies high-quality products from the petrochemical sector to Russia, Uzbekistan, China, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Europe.
Cooperation in the oil and gas sector with the states of Central and South Asia, as well as Europe, helps strengthen the export potential of the fuel and energy complex and the entire economy of Turkmenistan.
