The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan have ended in Tashkent. Within the framework of the event, a gala concert was held at the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”, to which representatives of Turkmen creative groups were invited, reports the “UzA” agency.
In her speech, the head of the Republican Turkmen National Cultural Center Guldona Avezdurdiyeva noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have a long history and are based on mutual respect and friendship.
“There is no person in Uzbekistan who has not read the works of Magtymguly, and in Turkmenistan there is no person who has not read the works of Alisher Navoi, - said Guldona Avezdurdiyeva”.
The head of the department of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute of Arts, art scientist Sahrogul Zhanmamedova also emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
“Uzbekistan is the land where great scientists, educators, and poets were born”, said Sahrogul Zhanmamedova. – This region is very valuable and holy for me. Because my father and mentors were educated in higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan”.
The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Uzbekistan became a bright event that contributed to the further strengthening of cultural ties between the two fraternal peoples.
