Football associations of Central Asia and India signed a Memorandum of Understanding

On October 30 in Doha, the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) and the All India Football Federation (AIFF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document describes a number of areas of cooperation, including development initiatives, competitions, exchange of experience, education and more.

The signing of the Memorandum was a significant milestone in relations between the two football associations. It will contribute to the development of football in Central Asia and India by improving the level of training of players and coaches, as well as expanding opportunities to participate in competitions.

Let us note that the Chairman of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, Vice-President of CAFA Arslan Aynazarov also took part in the events on the occasion of the signing of the Memorandum.

The Central Asian Football Association, which was founded in June 2014, is part of one of the five zones of the AFC. CAFA unites football federations of six countries - Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
