The Turkmen delegation held bilateral meetings with a number of high-ranking representatives of the government and business of Georgia and Romania within the framework of the Silk Road Forum in Tbilisi, the agency "Turkmenavtoulaglary" reports.
The delegation was headed by Batyr Annaev, deputy general director of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen side held talks with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania, as well as the Director of Commercial Relations of APM Terminals in Georgia and the Managing Director of MSC Georgia.
During the meeting, the topics of strengthening and further development of cooperation in the spheres of trade, economy, transport, energy and investments were discussed. The main emphasis was placed on the transport and transit corridor "Caspian Sea - Black Sea".
Active participation in the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum and holding bilateral meetings with representatives of various countries and companies should contribute to the integration of Turkmenistan into the world economy, as well as the realization of the country's transport and transit potential.
