October became very eventful for Turkmen people in terms of holding various cultural and social events. The month is not over yet, and no less interesting events await ahead, which we hasten to remind you of.
One of the key events in the cultural life of the country is the Mukama siňen ömür festival in honor of the 85th anniversary of the outstanding Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov. It will be in Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag on October 27-28. The festival program can be found here.
On October 28, the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of Resul Klychev invites Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital to the “Life in Music” concert dedicated to Nury Halmamedov.
On October 28-29, Ashgabat will host the premiere performances of the play Köňül tary (“Strings of the Soul”) at the National Drama Theater named after. Alp Arslan.
On October 28 at 14:00, the French Institute in Ashgabat will host a screening of the cartoon “Sophie’s Tricks”, which will be shown with Russian subtitles.
On October 28 at 5:00 p.m., the Italian animated film “Lost and the Mystery of the Magic Pyramid” will be shown in the capital’s “Ashgabat” cinema.
October 29 is the national holiday Day of the Turkmen Alabai. Art exhibitions, conferences, and events dedicated to the Turkmen alabai as a national treasure will be held in all velayats and the capital. On this day, based on the results of an international competition, the brave Turkmen Alabai of 2023 will be announced.
On October 31, the Turkmen-Iranian tourism festival will open at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.
