Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan agreed to intensify cooperation in foreign trade, energy, transport, construction, industry and textiles, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The agreement was reached during negotiations on October 11 in Ashgabat, in the building of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. Following the meeting, the parties signed a Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey for 2024-2025.
During the meeting, the parties also noted successful cooperation in the fields of education and science, healthcare, sports, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
