President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking today at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, stated the need to develop the country's construction and industrial complex, reports the State Information Agency TDH.
As the head of state noted, the construction complex is one of the key sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan. The country is working to create innovative industries and radically transform the social and living conditions of the population.
The head of state emphasized that the country has accumulated positive experience in the production of non-metallic building materials, cement, expanded clay, and building glass.
“By the end of this year, capital investments in the amount of 545 million 55 thousand manats will be spent on the construction of the Turkmenbashy-Farab and Ashgabat-Dashoguz highways and the bridge across the Garabogazkel Bay,” said the President of Turkmenistan.
According to the head of the Turkmen state, in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), it is necessary to develop certain areas of the country's industry.
“For these purposes, it is necessary to develop joint projects and programs for further development of industrial marketing areas, increasing the competitiveness of entering world markets, and improving management experience,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.
