President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that the country's GDP growth since the beginning of the year is 6,2%, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
In his speech at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, the head of state emphasized that stable economic development is the main goal of Turkmenistan’s long-term strategy. To achieve this goal, large-scale programs and reforms are being carried out, covering all areas of the economy.
In particular, to improve the efficiency of state investment policy, the volume of investments aimed at accelerating the development of processing and manufacturing industries is systematically increasing.
“As a result of these program works, GDP growth has remained steadily at 6,2% since the beginning of this year”, - noted President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
