Today, on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of independence, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov pardoned 1180 convicts. The head of state signed the corresponding Decree at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of members of the State Security Council, the Watan information program of Turkmen television reported.
The head of state instructed the heads of law enforcement agencies to carry out the necessary work so that those pardoned would be released from prison and soon find themselves with their families.
Hyakims of velayats, etraps and cities were instructed to take the necessary measures to provide employment to those pardoned.
