The national football team of Turkmenistan went to friendly matches against Indonesia and Bahrain. This was reported by the press service of the national team.
The match against Indonesia will be on September 8 in the city of Surabaya. Then the national team of Turkmenistan on September 12 will meet with Bahrain in Dubai (UAE).
Thus, within the framework of the September training camp, the national football team of Turkmenistan will play two control matches. These games will help the Turkmen people to prepare for the upcoming qualifying matches of the 2026 World Cup.
On the eve of the head coach of the national team of Turkmenistan Mergen Orazov announced the list of 23 players for the September matches.
The national team includes three legionnaires – “Energetik-BGU” defenders Vepa Jumayev, “Abdysh-Ata” Teymur Charyev and “Kitchee” midfielder Ruslan Mingazov, who play in the national championships of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong, respectively.
