Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan (TTF) Eziz Dovletov took part in a seminar for leaders on the development of tennis in Asia, which was held in Kuala Lumpur from 19 to 20 August. The seminar, which was also attended by representatives of 32 countries, was organized by the Asian Tennis Federation (AFT).
During the forum, Dovletov met with AFL director Manprit Kandari and AFL head Anil Khanna. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation and development of tennis in the region. The leaders of the AFT praised the FTT for the successful hosting of the Central Asian Championship among children under 12 in June 2023 in Ashgabat. This championship was recognized as a benchmark and an example of the organization of tennis competitions.
Eziz Dovletov thanked the AFL for their support and invitation to the seminar. He also stressed that the FTT attaches great importance to the development of tennis in Turkmenistan and strives to improve the level and quality of the game of its athletes.
