Saudi Al-Nasr Football Club won the Arab Champions Cup after beating Al-Hilal 2-1 in the final. The hero of the match was the Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored two goals and was forced to leave the field due to injury.
The final meeting was held in Riyadh at the King Fahd Stadium. In the first half, the teams failed to open an account, although both had good scoring chances. At the beginning of the second half, Al-Hilal took the lead thanks to Michael's accurate shot from Malcolm's pass, but Al-Nasr answered with a double from Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese scored in the 74th and 98th minutes.
At the 115th minute, Ronaldo was forced to leave the field due to injury, but his team held the lead until the end of the match.
Al-Nasr won the Arab Champions Cup for the first time. Al-Hilal won the tournament twice and reached the final for the third time.
