Aibegshazada Kurraev from Turkmenistan won a bronze medal at the Asian Youth Championship (U-23) in Bishkek in Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category up to 130 kg.
In the fight for bronze, the Turkmen wrestler defeated Asrorbek Anvardzhonov from Uzbekistan (4:0).
The winner was Wenhao Jiang from China. Silver went to Kazakhstani Dzhokhar Uzarov.
The 2023 Asian Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling among youth and cadets will end on June 18. For the second year in a row, competitions are held in two age categories - under 17 and under 23 years old.
