1. On June 8, in the building of the Administration of the Halk Maslahaty, negotiations were held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a two-day official visit. Noting the importance of the upcoming meeting with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which will result in the signing of bilateral documents on cooperation in a number of areas, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that the Turkmen-Hungarian partnership has very good prospects for expanding joint activities in political, diplomatic, trade, economic and cultural - humanitarian spheres.

2. The joint plan for the accelerated implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline project was signed on Thursday by the Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas” Maksat Babayev and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. The meeting was held within the framework of the working trip of the delegation of Turkmenistan to Pakistan. Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed his support for the early completion of the TAPI gas pipeline and TAP transmission line projects, which will play an important role in meeting Pakistan's energy needs.

3. In Kazan, the International Forum of Ministers of Education “Shaping the Future” began its work, in which representatives of the industry from more than 20 countries take part. During the event, its participants will discuss the role of education in the development of the economy, the availability of quality education, work with children and youth, children's recreation, teaching the Russian language in other countries.

4. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution instructing the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure the creation of an electronic information exchange system of the Electronic Waybill of the Agency “Turkmenawtotransport”, and together with the Ministry of Adalat to prepare and submit proposals for amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers within a month and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Decree.

5. “Turkmen Airlines” in June-July 2023 will operate eight charter flights on the route Ashgabat - Jeddah - Ashgabat and Ashgabat - Medina - Ashgabat. Pilgrims from Turkmenistan wishing to make the Hajj to Mecca and Medina will be delivered to the cities of Saudi Arabia on Boeing 777-200 aircraft. Let us remind that this year the Office of the Mufti of Turkmenistan plans to send more than 2300 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj.

6. Within the framework of the Week of Russian Cinema and Animation, which will be held in Turkmenistan from June 9 to 14, more than 20 films are planned to be shown in “Ashgabat” and “Berkarar” cinemas in the capital. Today, the grand opening of the Week of Russian Cinema will be held at the “Ashgabat” cinema, and on June 11, a festive screening for the Day of Russia is scheduled here. 9. For the first time in history, Turkmen tennis players won against the team of Uzbekistan at the ongoing Central Asian championship in Ashgabat among boys and girls under 12 years old. The heroes of the fourth gaming day at the tournament held in the Olympic Village were Ashgabat residents Suleyman Hudayberdyev, Nazargeldy Amangeldyev and Ali Geldyev, a pupil of the Turkmenabat tennis school. Having won a victory over Uzbekistan with a total score of 3:0, the youth of Turkmenistan climbed to second place in the standings, and now they have a chance to win silver medals in the Central Asian championship for the first time. As for the women's team of Turkmenistan, today it lost to its rivals from Uzbekistan - 0:3 and now on the last game day at the tournament it will compete with the representatives of Tajikistan for bronze medals. For the second time, Turkmenistan hosts the regional tournament held under the auspices of the International (ITF) and Asian (ATF) tennis federations. Four years ago, at the same championship of Central Asia in Ashgabat, the Turkmen teams of boys and girls took third place.

10. The Grand Prix of the International Weightlifting Federation started in Havana. The tournament is a qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Turkmenistan will be represented by 3 athletes at the competition. Famous weightlifters Gaygysyz Toryaev, Shatlyk Shohradov and Polina Gurieva, the first silver medalist of the Olympic Games in the modern history of Turkmenistan, are on the application list of the national team. More than 400 athletes from 72 countries will take part in the tournament in Havana.

11. FIFA referee from Turkmenistan Charymurad Kurbanov and assistant referee Ahmed Begnazarov will officiate the matches of the CAFA Nations Cup. The tournament will be held in Bishkek and Tashkent from June 10 to 20. Teams from Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Oman will take part in the Cup. According to the draw, the national team of Turkmenistan will play in group “A” with the teams of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Oman.
