1. On Wednesday evening, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov returned to Ashgabat, having completed a two-day working visit to Iran. During the visit, the National Leader of the Turkmen people held talks with the President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, the agenda of which included the whole range of issues of Turkmen-Iranian relations, which are progressively developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
2. The solemn opening of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan was held in Yerevan, and the first events of the creative forum aimed at strengthening the friendship between the Turkmen and Armenian peoples were held. 3. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban will visit Ashgabat in the coming days. This is stated in the congratulatory message of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the head of the Hungarian Government, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary today. “We pay great attention to the friendly relations established between Turkmenistan and Hungary. I am confident that the talks to be held in Ashgabat in the coming days will be fruitful and will give a new impetus to the further development of bilateral cooperation”, - the message of the head of state says.

6. In the Chinese city of Wuhan, an overhead monorail is being tested, along which a drone train has been launched. Suspended unmanned train can accommodate up to 200 passengers and is capable of speeds up to 60 km/h. The train has an intelligent security system and is a cheap alternative to the regular subway. Glass panels are built into the floor of the carriages, which, together with ordinary windows, opens up a magnificent view in all directions. The course of the train is characterized by increased smoothness, shaking is almost not felt. It is expected that the unmanned aerial train will be put into operation this year.
7. Representatives of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan reported on the development of a new technology for the production of paper - with the addition of natural silk. The composition of the paper includes natural silk fibers. The paper itself is impregnated with a fluorescent solution, which, when exposed to ultraviolet light, gives the silk fibers a rich dark color. This technology is planned to be used in the production of banknotes, securities and other important documents.

9. The calendar of games for the qualifying tournament of the Asian Cup-2024 among the teams under 23 in group “K” has been determined. The matches will be held from September 6 to 12, 2023 in Indonesia. The national team of Turkmenistan will play its first match in the qualifying round on September 6 against the team of Taiwan. And in the final round on September 12, the team of Turkmenistan will meet with the Indonesian team. Let us note that 43 teams will take part in the qualifying tournament of the Asian Cup-2024 among the Olympic teams under 23. The winners of 11 groups, as well as the four best teams among the runners-up, will receive tickets to the final of the 2024 Asian Cup, which will be held from April 15 to May 3 in Qatar.
