2. The honorary title “Teacher of the Year 2023” was awarded to the teacher of drawing and drafting of the Ashgabat secondary specialized school № 134 Gulyalek Tachmuradova. 3. In the building of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on May 5, from 09.00 to 12.00, a job fair will be held, organized by the Department of Labor and Employment of the Berkararlyk rtrap together with the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. 4. Israel has opened a permanent embassy in Turkmenistan. The opening ceremony was attended by Foreign Ministers of Israel and Turkmenistan Eli Cohen and Rashid Meredov, as well as ambassadors of a number of foreign states. The heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries cut the symbolic ribbon, after which the head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry attached a Mezuzah, a parchment coil containing part of the text of the “Shema” prayer, to the doorpost of the embassy. “I am honored to install the Mezuzah and open our new embassy in Turkmenistan”, - said Eli Cohen.
5. Prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of horse breeding were discussed by representatives of the State Association “Turkmen Atlary” and the French Institute of Horse Breeding and Riding. The event was held online. The Turkmen side was represented at the talks by the Director General of the State Association “Turkmen Atlary” Ahmet Berdyev, the Rector of the International Equestrian Academy named after Aba Annayev Pygy Bayramdurdyev and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France Maksat Charyev.
6. Kazakh senators approved the law "On ratification of the Agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on the regime of the state border”. The agreement provides for the regulation of legal relations between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on the state border. In particular, the norms of the law determine the procedure for protecting the state border, crossing it, transporting goods and other property. The document also includes issues of doing business, fishing or other activities on the state border, in border zones and water areas.

7. Russian scientists have found a way to produce paracetamol from steel waste. Converter gas was used for drug synthesis. At 60 percent it consists of carbon monoxide. With its help, specialists from the Institute of Organoelement Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences were able to obtain a number of organic compounds that are an integral part of medicines. In the future, converter gas is planned to be used for the synthesis of urea, which is used as a fertilizer.
8. Klim Shipenko's “The Challenge”, the first feature film shot aboard the International Space Station, was released in all Russian cinemas. Filming was carried out on the “Soyuz MS-19” spacecraft in 2021. The director himself, the lead actress Yulia Peresild, as well as cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, went specially into space. The plot was that due to an emergency situation on board the ISS, it is necessary to urgently perform a heart operation on one of the crew members, for which, after a month of preparation, the character of Yulia Peresild is sent into space.

9. The national hockey team of Turkmenistan won a crushing victory over the Thai team in its third match at the World Championship. The meeting ended with the score 6:3. The team of Turkmenistan won the second victory in a row at the tournament. Prior to this, the Turkmen team defeated Luxembourg and lost to South Africa. Bayram Allayarov's wards will finish the tournament on April 23 with a match against Taiwan.
10. Turkmen swimmer Merdan Atayev won the 100m backstroke at the Uzbekistan Open Swimming Championship in Tashkent. The athlete showed a time of 58,16 seconds. Earlier, Merdan Atayev won first place in the 200m backstroke.
