Prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of horse breeding were discussed by representatives of the State Association "Turkmen Atlary" and the French Institute of Horse Breeding and Riding.
According to the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France, the event was held on Wednesday in an online format.
The Turkmen side was represented at the talks by the Director General of the State Association "Turkmen Atlary" Ahmet Berdyev, the Rector of the International Equestrian Academy named after Aba Annayev Pygy Bayramdurdyev and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France Maksat Charyev.
From the French side, Jean-Roche Gayet, Director General of the French Institute of Equine Breeding and Riding, Guillaume Blanc, Director of the Department for Supporting the Horse Industry, and Amandine Julien, Manager of the International Department of the Institute, took part in the conversation.
“The interlocutors discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of horse breeding within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the State Association “Turkmen Atlary” and the French Institute of Horse Breeding and Riding, signed in December 2020.
Issues of cooperation in the field of horse breeding and riding were discussed at the meeting. The parties expressed interest in developing the exchange of experience and expertise in this area, as well as in the possibility of holding joint events and trainings for horse breeders and horse riders,” the message says.
