The UK authorities plan to introduce a ban on the use of wet wipes by the end of the year, Khabar 24 reports.
Hygiene products contain plastic, and therefore do not decompose like ordinary paper ones.
According to official figures, wet wipes cause more than 90% of sewer failures and clogs, which cost UK utilities 136 million dollars a year to fix.
