1. February 18 is the Day of Diplomatic Workers in Turkmenistan. On the occasion of this event, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the diplomats with greetings. 3. A pedagogical secondary vocational school named after Berdimuhamed Annayev and a medical secondary vocational school named after Sachly Dursunova will be created in the Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan. By the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan dated February 17, 2023, it is prescribed to start accepting students to study at these professional educational institutions from the 2023-2024 academic year.

In connection with the death of people during avalanches in the Gorno-Badakhshan region of Tajikistan, a telegram of condolences addressed to President Emomali Rahmon was sent by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
