The State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan conducted by Rasul Klychev held a “New Year's Light” at the Mukams Palace.
As per the “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” edition, the concert evening was a full house and included music from famous films, as well as performances by soloists Maysa Niyazova, Nury Nuryev and Dovran Shammyev.
The songs “And it's snowing” by Andrey Eshpai from the movie “The Career of Dima Gorin”, “Three White Horses” by Evgeny Krylatov from the movie “Wizards”, “Wake up and Sing” by Gennady Gladkov – “Gentlemen of Fortune”, “Meet with Love” by Alexander Zatsepin from “Ivan Vasilyevich changes his profession” and others were performed.
The hosts of the concert were Vasily Andronov and Anush Patarak.
The audience greeted each number with stormy applause, and during the performance of the “Radetsky March” began to chant rhythmically to the music. Rasul Klychev conducted both musicians and the audience, alternately addressing both.
The concert ended on such dynamic emotional note. The satisfied audience took with them the New Year’s mood, a positive attitude and the hope that the next year will be the same as this concert – generous with cheerful emotions.
