Ashgabat will host Dialogue of Women of the Central Asian States

Tomorrow, on December 10, Ashgabat will host a Dialogue of Women of the Central Asian States with the participation of representatives of the countries of the region, heads of regional structures of the United Nations.

The participants of the meeting will sum up the activities of the Organization in 2022, as well as coordinate the work plan of the Dialogue for 2023.

Upon completion of the Dialogue meeting, the adoption of the final document is envisaged.

Let us remind that Turkmenistan is chairing the Dialogue of Women in Central Asia this year.

The Women's Dialogue is the first structure in the history of Central Asia, created in December 2020 by representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the support of the UN.

In two years, the Dialogue has established itself as a permanent informal structure with its own legal framework.
