Since December 2, 2022, the Qatari authorities have again allowed entry to tourists who do not have tickets for the matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup – they have to register Hayya Card, pay a fee of 500 reals and present a hotel booking.

If a fan has a ticket even for one match, he is exempt from a fee payment, Gulf Times edition reports.

Besides the entrance permit, holders of Hayya Card get free travel by metro and buses, fan zone accession, the FIFA fans festival, a free sim card and a number of other advantages. It is permitted to stay with such card until January 23, 2023.

The World Football Cup will last until December 18, 2022. After December 23, Qatar will newly begin accepting travelers, coming to Qatar with the purpose of tourism.
