Qatar removes all entry restrictions for tourists

The state of Qatar removes all covid restrictions for tourist’s entry from November 1, 2022, the “Tour Operators Association” website reports.

Travelers will no longer need to submit COVID-19 tests. Moreover, tourists will no longer need to get registered in the Ehteraz Health app before the arrival to Qatar. The app was necessary to visit public places.

On November 20, 2022, the World Football Cup starts in Qatar. It will last until December 18. In accordance with the decision of the Government of Qatar, during the period of 2022 World Cup, from November 1 to December 23, it will be possible to arrive to the country only in case of the presence of fan passport Hayya Card, or holders of a Qatar resident permit. In other words, Qatar during of 2022 World Cup is getting closed for non-fans. After December 23, Qatar will newly begin accepting travelers, coming to Qatar with the purpose of tourism.

For visiting Qatar for the residents of Turkmenistan visa is required.
