1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay an official visit to the UAE on November 21-22. During the visit, a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed. Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the UAE were established in October 1995. Systematic interaction has been established between the countries through governments and foreign ministries, as well as within the framework of authoritative international organizations.
2. The online sale of tickets for passenger ships “Charlak” and “Rovach”, which fly from Turkmenbashi to the island of Gyzylsuv and back, has started. 5. The authorities of the United Arab Emirates have introduced a ban on price increases for essential products in retail outlets. The list of goods, the price increase of which is prohibited without the permission of the UAE Ministry of Economy, includes vegetable oil, flour, sugar, eggs, poultry, rice and legumes, dairy products, bread and wheat.
6. An immersive exhibition by British artist David Hockney will open in London. An immersive exhibition differs from the usual one in that it creates for visitors the effect of complete “immersion” in the picture thanks to computer technology. The viewer does not just see the picture, he seems to be inside it, becoming, as it were, part of the plot.
7. The Taekwondo Championship of Turkmenistan ended in Ashgabat. Dozens of athletes from all regions of the country took part in the competition. In the team standings, the team of Mary velayat became the leader of the competition. Under the guidance of coach Maksat Babayev, she climbed to the highest step of the podium more than 15 times. The Ashgabat team took the second place in the team standings.
8. Turkmen athletes have registered for the Grand Slam judo tournament in Tokyo. 12 athletes from Turkmenistan, along with teams from 66 countries, will compete for medals and ranking points on their way to the Paris 2024 Olympics. The men's team of Turkmenistan included eight people, and the women's team - four. The tournament in Tokyo will be held from December 3 to 4.
