The Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan sang at the festival of friendship between the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples

The head of the sphere of culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, who heads the delegation of his country at the Festival of Friendship between the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples, spoke during a joint concert held today on the stage of the Dashoguz Türkmeniň ak öýi.

At the request of the audience, People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov performed the lyrical Uzbek song Gelgin gülüm and in the Turkmen language - Leýlisaç barada rowaýat, the words and music of which belong to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The minister's speech was greeted with friendly applause from the audience, who accepted the pleasant surprise with great enthusiasm.

As it is known, the Minister of Culture, People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Turkmenistan in 2020, he is also a laureate of the competition of the President of Turkmenistan Türkmeniň Altyn asyry.
