In Turkmenistan, UNICEF and the Institute of State, Law and Democracy have begun joint consultations on the development of a new National Action Plan on the Rights of the Child for 2023-2028.
This is the second National Plan of Turkmenistan, designed to expand and deepen multilateral cooperation to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to children and obligations under the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
As reports UNICEF on social networks, members of the Interdepartmental Commission for Ensuring the Observance of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law participate in the consultations. It consists of 22 representatives of state structures.
