The award ceremony was held on Wednesday in Dushanbe. The FFT Secretary General Furkat Ahmedjanov presented the symbolic award to the captain of women’s team of Turkmenistan Maria Charyyeva.
Let us remind that athletes from Turkmenistan in their debut international tournament took fourth place (2 points scored).
The women’s national team of Uzbekistan won four victories in four matches played and having scored 12 points, became the first winner of the championship of the Central Asian Football Association.
Silver medals went to the players of Iran (9 points). Bronze medals went to the team of Kyrgyzstan (4 points).
As a result of tournament the Fair Play prize was awarded to the Iranian team.
The captain of the national team of Uzbekistan Nilufar Kudratova received the prize of the most valuable player of the tournament, and also became the top scorer of the competition with five goals scored.
