The Russian Embassy announced a last export flight from Turkmenistan in June

The Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan reported today about the scheduled export flight on June 24. The announcement is posted in Telegram-channel of the Consulate Department of the Embassy of the Russian Federation.

With the organizational assistance of the Russian Embassy, an export flight of Turkmenistan Airlines on the route Ashgabat-Moscow will be organized. As per the information, flight T5 701 will depart from Ashgabat at 10:00 local time.

Tickets selling on the indicated flight starts on June 22 in the “Turkmenistan” Airlines offices in Ashgabat. The cost of the economy class tickets is nearly 600 US dollars. Passengers will be able to clarify payment details with the airline.

The foreign citizens must have a negative PCR test valid for 48 hours when flying to Russia.

Let’s remind that at the beginning of June the Embassy of the Russian Federation announced on suspension the acceptance of documents for charter flights. The decision was taken in connection with the resumption of regular flights between the countries. “Turkmenistan” airlines resumed flights from Ashgabat to Kazan after a two-years break. Kazan flight are executed from Ashgabat on Wednesdays at 14:55 (Ashgabat time). The airplanes on return direction from Kazan to Turkmenistan return to Turkmenabat airport.

Charter flights to Moscow have been executed with the organizational assistance of the Russian Embassy since March 2020. Special flights were executed by “Turkmenistan” Airlines together with the Russian “Siberia” (about 37 flights were carried out by the Russian airline).
