The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan has introduced changes to obligatory measures on prevention of seasonal infectious diseases among population. In accordance with the document published on the legal information portal, protective masks must be worn:
- at checkpoints across the State border of Turkmenistan;
- in all types of public transport;
- in enclosed public spaces.
This mandatory rule applies to all citizens except preschool children.
It is noted that the alleviation of the measures is linked with the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the world and region.
