An earthquake of magnitude 5,2 hit southern Iran on Wednesday. According to the publication Day.Az, the epicenter of the seismic tremors was located near the port of Charak in the province of Hormozgan. The source of the disaster lay at a depth of 8 km.
In accordance with the publication, during the last hour, seismologists registered four tremors with a magnitude over 4,0 in the specified area. There was no information about the consequences of the earthquake.
