Since the founding of Autohouse GmbH in 2000 under the leadership of Myrat Ramazanov, the BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad brands have significantly increased their presence in Turkmenistan and gained particular popularity among car enthusiasts.

“The BMW Group recognizes the importance and puts the safety of drivers and pedestrians in the first place, and ensuring law and order in the country. For operational activities, inspection and preventive work with the population, and organizing the escort of top officials, special cars – BMW-X6M and motorcycles – BMW-1200RT, 1600RT were delivered to Turkmenistan. At the moment, all these vehicles are used by law enforcement officers, law enforcement agencies and the police traffic control service”, says Ramazanov.

All vehicles delivered to Turkmenistan by an official importer are serviced by a team of qualified certified specialists who also have certificates for servicing electric vehicles. Under the guidance of Myrat, the masters of Autohouse GmbH were trained in training centers in Germany, Russia and Azerbaijan. Representatives of BMW from Germany also came to Ashgabat to instruct the employees of the Police Road Supervision Servicd and conduct trainings to improve the skill of driving motorcycles.

“Also, Autohouse GmbH, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, created the BMW Motorsport Turkmenistan sports team to train and improve the skills of sports driving special vehicles”, notes the head of the BMW representative office.

Just a year later, the BMW team participated in another grandiose project – the “Amul-Khazar 2018” International Rally.

Having started their journey on the cost of the Amu Darya, the riders drove more than one and a half thousand kilometers across the country from east to west and finished in “Avaza”, overcoming the most difficult special stages in the vast Karakum desert.

Representatives of the German automaker were leading in the overall standings throughout the rally-raid, and rightly entered their names in the annals of Turkmen motorsport. In total, the Bavarian concern has 1 gold and 1 bronze awards.

Today the BMW Group is concerned about new challenges related to climate change on Earth. The automaker is not only ready for drastic measures, but also embodies them here and now.

Presenting his vision for sustainable development and environmental protection during the UN International Climate Summit in Glasgow, BMW AG Chairman Oliver Zipse named the main goals of reducing carbon emissions by 40% by 2030 and achieving full climate neutrality by 2050.

The BMW concern offers a huge selection of electric vehicles with a long range, on a full electric charge up to 500 km.

Along with this, Turkmenistan, having signed the main environmental conventions of the UN and the Paris Agreement on climate change, is steadily following its obligations. The oil and gas and chemical industries, electric power industry, transport and other industries are systematically implementing measures aimed at reducing emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

The BMW Group fully supports the chosen course of development of Turkmenistan and hopes for the prosperity of mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at advancing the world agenda of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
