It is planned to extend the possibilities of the famous “Archman” resort by constructing a building for 200 or 400 places on its territory.
As per the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, the proposals on the expansion of the popular among population hydropathical establishment were sounded by vacationers during the visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The head of the new chamber of the Turkmen government promised to convey to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the people's wish for the construction of another building of the sanatorium.
The “Archman” sanatorium was founded in 1925. This resort is well-known for the treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, skin diseases, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, peripheral nervous system, gynecological diseases. The reconstruction of the existing two five-storeyed buildings of the sanatorium, designed for 500 seats, was carried out in 2000-2001. In 2011, a new four- storeyed building was opened, designed for 420 seats.
