Putin congratulated President of Turkmenistan on the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations establishment

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory letter to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations establishment between the two countries. Today, the text of the congratulatory letter has been published on the website of the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan.

Relying on the good traditions of friendship and mutual respect binding our peoples, we managed to bring interstate cooperation to the level of strategic partnership over the past decades, the Russian leader stated.

According to Putin, bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, energy, humanitarian and many other areas is developing dynamically.

I am confident that we will ensure further expansion of the Russian-Turkmen partnership ties through joint efforts in all directions. This fully meets the interests of our friendly peoples, goes in line with strengthening security and stability in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea," the Head of the Russian state stressed.

Vladimir Putin wished his Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and success, and well-being and prosperity to all citizens of Turkmenistan.

To recap, the diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation were established on April 8, 1992.
