The Best District of 2021 was selected in Turkmenistan. It became the District Danev of the Lebap Region. Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov announced it at an Expanded Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where the results of 2021 were summed up.
The Head of Turkmenistan signed an Order on awarding this District with a cash prize of $ 1 million.
The funds will be allocated from the State Fund for the Development of the Golden Age of Turkmenistan.
The competition for the Best District has been held in Turkmenistan since 2013. When summing up its results, indicators on the implementation of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, cities, district centers, the fulfillment of contractual obligations for the production of wheat and cotton, the commissioning of social and cultural facilities are taken into account.
In 2020, the S. A. Niyazov District of Dashoguz Region was recognized as the best in Turkmenistan.
