An open lesson was held at the Lebap velayat special school of arts, where students of the History and Theory of Music department presented romances and songs of their own composition, written in the words of European and Turkmen poets. This is reported by the Jeyhun.news edition.
3rd year student Gozel Nurmamedova presented her romance “Echo of Life” to the words of Anna Ahmatova. It was performed by Medine Jomartova, a 4th-year student of the department of “musical pedagogy”, in a heartfelt manner.
A third-year student Dursun Reimova wrote a romance Galaýyn men to the words of Myahri Alymova (a second-year student at the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seidi). It was performed by Soltan Alymov.
3rd year student Myahri Avazova introduced the audience to the lyric and philosophical romance "Good advice" to the words of the classic of Russian poetry A.S. Pushkin (performed by the 3rd year student of the “piano” department Guljemal Durdymuradova).
Her song Gözel güllende to the words of the national poet of Turkmenistan Ata Atajanov was performed by the author herself - fourth-year student Gozel Jumaniyazova. A lyrical memory of my mother sounded lightly, gently in the rhythm of the waltz.
The first-year student Soltan Alymov wrote the patriotic song “Turkmenistan” to the words of Myahri Alymova, and he himself performed it with success.
At the end of the lesson, third-year students Ogulbek Egenova, Myahri Avazova, Gozel Nurmamedova, Dursun Reimova performed a complex polyphonic work of the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach “Invention” No. 4 (d-moll).
An open lesson was conducted by an experienced teacher of the Department of History and Theory of Music, musicologist Yulia Jumaeva, who pays special attention to composing skills, as she believes that it is necessary to form aesthetic taste and creative skills among theoretical students.
In their works, students used a variety of genres and forms: waltz, elegy; two private and three private forms.
