Turkmenistan will take part in the first economic forum "European Union - Central Asia"

Vice-Premier Charymyrat Gylyjov will represent Turkmenistan at the first European Union - Central Asia economic forum to be held on November 5 in Bishkek. The corresponding order was signed today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television reported.

The event aims to discuss and develop a coordinated response to support a sustainable economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The forum will be held at the level of prime ministers and deputy heads of government of the Central Asian countries. The European Union will be represented by the Executive Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis. In addition, high-level representatives, foreign ministers, special representatives, as well as ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary will take part from the EU countries.
