A new book entitled “Mahtumkulu Divanı'ndan Seçmeler” (“Selected Works of Magtymguly”) co-authored by a group of prominent scholars, literary critics and historians has been published in Turkey, “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports.
The first part of the publication includes the biography and creative path of the great poet.
The second part contains sayings and quotes from the collection of works of Magtymguly, here explanations are given to metaphorical concepts. Some of the poet's poems contain scientific comments and explanations.
The third part of the book contains expert opinions of famous scientists, literary figures, poets, statesmen and political figures about the work of Magtymguly.
