The premiere of the opera “Gül-Bilbil” will take place at the National Music and Drama Theater named after Mahtumkuli on the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as the poetry of Mahtumkuli Fragi. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Myahrijemal Mammedova said this at a government meeting on Friday.
The Vice-Premier reported on the events to be held from June 22 to June 27 within the framework of the Culture Week in Lebap velayat.
So, for the Week of Culture in velayat, the opening ceremonies of social, cultural and other facilities are planned, including the airport in the city of Kerki, the “Türkmeniň ak öýi” building in Turkmenabat and the “Çagalar dünýäsi” cultural and entertainment center in Farab etrap.
The program of the Week of Culture also provides for a conference, concerts of art masters, premieres of new films, various creative meetings and excursions.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the annual creative action, which became a visible evidence of the flourishing of national culture and art, fruitful activities for the preservation and widespread popularization of the national spiritual heritage in the world, as well as stimulating the further development of this area and contributing to the identification of new talents.
The head of state ordered to ensure a high organizational level of the events of the Week of Culture, ceremonies for the opening of new socially significant objects so that they vividly reflect the original traditions and customs of the people, their unity, having given appropriate instructions to the Vice - Premier in this regard, according to today's newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
