“Turkmen Airlines” will receive a new Boeing 777-200LR in the first quarter of 2021, CAPA reports.

The EZ-A780 passenger aircraft is built at the Seattle (USA) plant. The aircraft is equipped with modern General Electric GE90-110B1L engines. In the near future, the airline will have test flights, after which it will be officially handed over to the customer.

The first Boeing 777-200LR saw the world in 2006. At that time, he beat all the records on the range (the LR prefix means “increased range”). The manufacturer of this model was given another name - Worldliner. It says that it can easily cover the distance between two airports in the world. The aircraft in the 777-200LR modification is sharpened under supersonic aircraft. The range of his flight reaches almost 16 thousand kilometers. On board can accommodate up to 317 passengers.

Recall that in September 2019, the “Turkmen Airlines” Agency signed a contract with Boeing (USA) for the purchase of a new Boeing 777-200LR. The new aircraft will be the 32nd aircraft purchased by Turkmen airline Boeing.
